Beef Dripping Yorkshire Puddings

Create beautifully risen, fluffy, crisp and golden Yorkshire puddings with this recipe; with a twist of luxury using the beef dripping rather than vegetable oil.

Time to make: 25 minutes

Makes 8 Yorkshire puddings

Ingredients

-100g plain flour

-3 large eggs

-150ml whole milk

-Pinch of salt

-1 tsp beef dripping per Yorkshire pudding

Method

-Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius/ Gas 7.

-In a mixing bowl or jug, stir a pinch of salt through 100g plain flour and create a well in the middle.

-Crack in the eggs and pour in the milk.

-Whisk it till it resembles a pancake batter.

-In a yorkshire pudding tray/cupcake tray, spoon in 1 tsp of beef dripping into each individual pan. This recipe makes 8 yorkshire puddings.

-Place in the pre-heated oven for roughly 5 minutes.

-Take the tray carefully out of the oven by which point the beef dripping should be piping hot. Pour the Yorkshire pudding batter into each individual pan.

-Put the tray back into the oven for 15 minutes, or until golden and risen.
